Andolyx was founded by Ryan Snook, a software developer based in
Snohomish County, Washington, who's been building web applications since the late 1990s
and professionally since 2011 — most recently building internal systems for a national
meal-kit franchise.
That work made one thing clear: most small, specialized businesses get stuck choosing
between generic software that ignores how their industry actually operates, or expensive
custom builds no small team can maintain. Andolyx exists to close
that gap — one focused product at a time, each one built by actually learning the business
it serves rather than guessing at it.
HutlRound, our first product, came out of that approach: tabletop cafes and hobby shops
were running on a patchwork of disconnected tools, so we built them one. The same model —
pick an underserved kind of business, understand how it really runs, build the software
around that — is how we plan to grow.
